KraftWerks Universal Intercooler - 31 x 12 x 4 in Core, 3 in Inlet & Outlet

Boost makes heat. A supercharger raising manifold pressure also raises intake air temperature, and hot air carries less oxygen while bringing detonation closer. An intercooler sits between the compressor outlet and the throttle body and pulls that heat back out of the charge before it reaches the engine.

KraftWerks developed these cores for its own turn-key supercharger systems and now sells them as standalone parts. Construction is all aluminium with cast aluminium end tanks, TIG welded throughout. Mounting points are universal, so the core can be positioned to suit your car rather than one application.

Sizing is the decision here. Core face area and thickness set how much heat you can reject, and the inlet and outlet diameter has to match your charge piping. Measure the space you have first. This core is 31 in L x 12 in H x 4 in T, and a core that will not fit behind your bumper support is a core you cannot use.
